Andres L. Oyarzun Herrera

Andres L Oyarzun (1956-2024) was a smiley, dedicated and hardworking man who always put the needs of his family and community first. Born in a beautiful bohemian seaside port town of Valparaiso, Chile. He moved to another beautiful waterfront town of Port Washington, NY in 1991, where he made his home and was known for his laid back, compassionate nature and giving spirit and corky sense of humor. Andres was a faithful member of his church for many years and was always ready to lend a hand. Most importantly he was a loving husband to his wife Edith Delgado-Oyarzun, a dedicated father to Andrea, Ramon, Deborah and Victor and most importantly a devoted grandfather of Rileigh, Francesca, RJ, Harrison, Nailah and Hassan. Andres was a father figure to many in his community in the many years he spent in Port Washington and his passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. Andres’s memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on for generations to come, inspiring those around him with his kindhearted generosity and resilient spirit. Spanish .
