Born into a family that she cherished deeply, Lynne was the daughter of James Charles Smith and Rose Madeleine Farelli and the elder sister to Holly Gosselin. She was the loving wife of the late Charles Thor, with whom she shared a bond of unwavering devotion until his passing. Together, Lynne and Charles created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and endless love. Lynne's heart knew no bounds when it came to her family. Despite enduring the heartbreaking loss of her daughter, Lisa Thor, Lynne's love remained steadfast and resilient. She found solace and strength in the embrace of her surviving children, Carl Thor, Carol Thor, and Ellen Plante. Her family expanded to include cherished connections through marriage, including her daughter-in-law, Jen Osso, and son-in-law, John Plante, whom she loved dearly. Lynne's greatest joy came from being a grandmother to Robert Jahn Jr, Angelina Fiscella, Cherise Hadley, Tom Sparks, and Franz Gleixner. She delighted in watching them grow, imparting wisdom and showering them with unconditional love throughout their lives. In the later years of her life, Lynne was blessed with the arrival of great-grandchildren, Ayla Hadley, Travis Hadley, Paige Hadley, Tucker Hadley, and Salvatore Aiosa, who brought immeasurable joy, excitement, and laughter into her world.
