Maryann Kruck

Maryann Kruck, 79, passed away on July 9, 2026, holding hands of loving and devoted daughters Heidi and Kerri. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose quiet strength and boundless love radiated outward, touching everyone lucky enough to know her. Born to Lydia and Dominick Nicoletti, Maryann grew up in Queens, NY with her brother Dom. Her childhood was filled with simple joys- daily walks to school and playing in the neighborhood with her cousins, who fondly teased her for being their “goodie two shoes.” It was on one of those regular, weekly Sunday walks with Dom, to get cold cuts at the local butcher shop in Manhasset - that she crossed paths with Ewald Kruck, the man who became the love of her life. From that point on, they were entirely inseparable. They were a true team in every sense. Wherever one was, the other was never far behind. Maryann poured her heart into everything she did. She was a dedicated, full-time mother of 2, who later ran her own babysitting business at home. For 20 years, she worked side by side with Ewald, helping him run the Tennis Coffee Shop in Port Washington. Later, she brought her tireless work ethic into catering, working private parties and events at the Crescent Beach Club. Her devotion to her children and grandchildren shone through in a million quiet ways big and small. She was always thinking of her grandsons bridging a box of shortbread cookies or a tray of brownies they all loved. Whether she was picking up from preschool, walking to Dunkin Donuts hand-in-hand with her grandchildren, or helping prepare a family dinner. She was always there for the people she loved. She was always interested in the events going on in their lives and loved listening to and supporting their life journeys. Maryann was special to so many people. She loved parties at the Elks lodge, and Polish Hall, Wine down Sundays after church with her friends. She was a great listener and trustworthy. She was strong as nails, resilient, determined, hardworking, and inspirational. She is survived by her daughters Heidi and Kerri (Kevin) and her cherished grandchildren Christian, Michael, Nicolas, Alex, Drew, Luke and Ryan. Each of them was her absolute pride, her joy, and her entire heart! Though she is gone, Maryann’s legacy endures in every beautiful memory she wove into the lives of the family and friends who loved her so dearly. A funeral mass for Maryann Kruck will be held on August 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church in Roslyn, NY (110 Bryant Avenue, Roslyn Harbor, NY 11576)
