Brad M. Gute

February 20, 2022

Brad Gute, born March 1, 1954, passed suddenly on February 20, 2022. Brad was married for 34 years to his beloved wife, Joan. He is also survived by his cherished daughter, Jessica and is predeceased by his precious daughter, Stefanie. Brad was born in Queens, NY and raised in Port Washington, where he graduated from Port Washington High School in 1972. He went to New York Institute of Technology and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. Brad started his career at the age of 18 in the insurance business. Although his entry tests indicated “he would never make it in the business,” he quickly became the leading sales producer in the agency! Soon after, he started his own financial planning firm which he successfully ran for 35 years. Brad loved golf and was an active member of the Nassau Country Club. He also enjoyed travel and spending time with family and friends. Brad will be terribly missed by his brother, Rich; his sister-in-law, Patti; his sister, Cyndi; his nephews, Tom and Taylor; and his niece, Rachel. Brad will also be missed by his sisters-in-law, Marjorie (Howard), Genevieve (Richie), Anne (Tom), Deanne (Bert) and his brothers-in-law, Fred (Kathy), Paul (Cheryl), Joe (Diane) and his 15 nieces and nephews and 13 grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Brad will also be missed by his many life-long friends. He truly loved you all. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to his daughter, Stefanie’s memorial fund through the following link: afsp.donordrive.com/campaign/stefaniegutememorialfund A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-8PM at Roslyn Heights Funeral Home. Funeral Mass Monday 10AM at Our Lady of Hope, Carle Place.
