RAJKUMAR BHANDARI 09-21-1932 to 01-23-2022 Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather & Great-Grandfather With Condolences from; Bhandari family Passey family Chopra family Sareen family Sondhi family Maini family Today we mourn the grieving loss of the patriarch of the Bhandari family; our beloved “Daddyji” Raj Kumar was born in the early morning hours of September 21, 1932 in the village of Miani, Punjab India to father Hans Raj and mother Satyawati during the last days of the British Empire rule in southeast Asia. He was the fourth of eleven children. As a child and teenager he attended an all boys boarding school and upon graduation instead of a government job and his passion of theatre & arts he joined his father’s clothing business. He was married to Asha Rani in 1955 and they have six wonderful children; Madhu, Renu, Neena, Sarabjit, Paramjit and late Baby.. in 1963 Raj Kumar started his successful career as a wine contractor which lasted till the late 1980s. He also became a loving grandfather to the late Avikal, Hina, Ritika, Hanish, Babbal, Mohinish, Sonam, Vikrant, Karan & Rohinish; he also was further blessed to become a great-grandfather to Taani, Jhanvi, Viraj & Chavi.. After emigrating to the United States in the year 2000, he spent many wonderful years back and forth between India and the United States surrounded by all the ones he loved and they loved him back equally if not more. He was always a strong trooper and the main guiding force for the family. But as all things are eventually meant to go sour in this life, he spent the last few years of his life battling a long illness, he did not give up but as per the will of the Lord he peacefully passed onto the next life in the early morning hours of January 23 2022… he was a fighter till the end he fought bravely and his loss is very devastating for the family, but he will always be remembered for an eternity and will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Rest easy Daddyji, we all love you!
